Privacy policy

When you order: your name, email address, shipping address and the items you buy. We use these to process, ship and support your order.

Payment details: card and PayPal payments are handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal on their secure pages. We never see or store your full card number.

When you email us: your email address and the contents of your message.

We count anonymous storefront events (for example, how many times a product is viewed or added to a bag) to understand which products are popular. These counts aren’t linked to you, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping bag is stored in your own browser (local storage) so it survives a page refresh.

• To fulfil and deliver your order and send order and shipping updates
• To answer questions and handle returns or refunds
• To prevent fraud and keep the store secure
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store:

• Stripe and PayPal — to process payments
• Amazon Web Services — to host the website, store order data and send order emails
• Shipping carriers — your name, address and contact details, to deliver your parcel

We may also disclose information when required by law.

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support and to meet tax and accounting requirements, then delete them.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@sophia-arts.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or India) you may have additional rights under local law, and we’ll honour them.

The site is served only over HTTPS, payment data stays with Stripe and PayPal, and access to order data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
